FE fundinfo announces 10th annual FE AdviserAsset Platinum Ratings winners

Quilter, Transact, Fidelity and Abrdn Wrap continue to display excellence, achieving Platinum Rated status for ten consecutive years.

FE fundinfo is pleased to announce the winners of the tenth annual FE AdviserAsset Platinum Ratings, a benchmark in evaluating financial advisers’ platform performances and showing excellence within the UK Platform industry.

Quilter, Transact, Fidelity Adviser Solutions and Abrdn Wrap have the distinction of being Platinum Rated in each of the ten years of the awards, underscoring their reliability and superior service standards.

These are joined by Hubwise, AJ Bell Investcentre, P1 Platform (second consecutive year), Nucleus, Aviva Wrap (third consecutive year) and Aegon Retirement Choices which are also Platinum Rated.

FE AdviserAsset compiles market data and adviser feedback - submitted by advisers using the platform switching tool - to score platforms in eight key areas. Advisers are provided with a well-trusted and fully independent assessment of the platform industry to make clearer, evidence-based platform decisions and ensure the best for clients. As the Ratings are refreshed regularly, the system ensures continuous, regularly updated insights for financial professionals.

Along with multiple market data points, the ratings incorporate direct adviser feedback in 28 aspects of user experience to bring an independent adviser-focused evaluation of platform effectiveness. The key factors in scoring include:

  • Price Competitiveness – Platforms ranked in the top three for pricing within charge-based comparisons
  • Reach of Proposition – Evaluating the breadth of charge-based tools
  • Penetration and Conversion Rate – Measuring how effectively platforms convert adviser engagement into transactions
  • Case Size – Analysing the size and complexity of cases handled
  • Transaction processing experience – based on user survey
  • Client reporting experience – based on user survey
  • Remote support experience – based on user survey
  • Platform Features & Due Diligence – Assessing platforms based on their functionality and presence in independent due diligence reports.

Following the acquisition of AdviserAsset in 2024, FE fundinfo is excited to bring this rigorous, adviser-led platform analysis and due diligence to its existing customer base of 75% of UK advice firms, and to continue building the ecosystem of essential tools for financial advisers.

Jodie Gallagher, Head of UK IFA Products, FE fundinfo commented: “We are thrilled to introduce the FE AdviserAsset Platinum Ratings as part of FE Analytics. This initiative underscores our commitment to empowering financial advisers with comprehensive data insights. FE AdviserAsset’s core competencies mean that advisers can make well-informed platform selections, improving their services and outcomes for clients.”

The FE AdviserAsset Ratings are one of FE fundinfo’s four key investment rating metrics, including Crown Fund Ratings, Passive Fund Ratings and the Alpha Manager Ratings, providing a range of well-established and impartial benchmarks to empower the financial ecosystem in making informed decisions.
